Ms.Heena Bhatt - Properitor, Psychologist
Personal Traits - Dynamic, dedicated, inquisitive, good at counseling for any population.
The journey of Psychology started for her when she was in school. Her inquisitive nature to know about people and their behaviour made her to explore the field. Later on, after completing her schooling she went up to take up Arts stream and completed her graduation from D.G. Ruparel College of Arts, Science and Commerce from Matunga.
After graduation, she went ahead to complete her Master’s degree in Counseling psychology with First class from S.N.D.T. womens university’s M.M.P.Shah college- Matunga. During her post-graduation she was an intern in Kripa foundation-Vasai for a year where she gained an experience in working with alcohol and drug addicts and HIV/AIDS population.
In 2013 she successfully completed her Post graduate Diploma in Forensic Psychology with Criminal Profiling from Pune’s International Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Her professional journey started as a career counselor with Youngbuzz. Later she worked for Kripa Foundation as an I.C.T.C. Counsellor and Assistant Project Coordinator working for HIV/AIDS population. Here she got the opportunity to work with different stakeholders and conduct educational seminars on HIV/AIDS. Working with Voice-Sanjeevani-A Shelter home for girl street child was a totally different experience for her.
In 2010, She got an opportunity to work for Dr.Blanche Barnes a very senior and experienced Clinical Psychologist in Komalsparsh. Here she worked as a Counseling psychologist and Project coordinator for B.M.C. schools Life skills project.
She has done Basic and advance level REBT(Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) from Invivo. She has also participated in workshop on Neuro-linguistic programing and its application in coaching by HumanSci Network(Dr.Dayal Mirchandani-Psychiatrist). She is Certified Practitioner in Neuro-linguistic programming trained under Dr.Abraham Abraham. She has been a participant in various seminars and workshops related to psychology.
Apart from Counseling she likes to spend her time listening to music, do yoga, exploring different places, draw, paint and do craft related activities.
